CYCLE RIDES IN THE DORDOGNE

Your chance to join Colin Lewis and other cycling enthusiasts in experiencing the pleasures of cycling in this area of diverse terrain, on quiet roads with excellent surfaces. You will enjoy spectacular scenery and stop for refreshment in a few of the most historic towns and villages in the world.
Nieudegat Gites at Simeyrols will be made available exclusively for this unique cycling experience.
Your hosts will be Olwen & Mike Melling and Pam & Colin Lewis, who with their many years of cycling experience will extend a very warm welcome, arrange plentiful nourishment to sustain you and, provide very comfortable accommodation in this tranquil, relaxing location.
The cost includes:-
- Transfer from and to Bergerac Airport by minibus with van to transport bikes
- Shared accommodation (2 or 3 people per gite) with supply of beverages
- Breakfast provided at Nieudegat ‘Petit Maison’
- Dinner; some evenings at Nieudegatand some at nearby Restaurants with transport provided
- Trip to local supermarket to purchase provisions
- Organised rides with Colin Lewis or you can 'do your own thing' maps and routes are provided
- Laundering service for cycle clothing
- Safe indoor bike storage
- Non riders can enjoy exploring the surrounding area or lazing by the pool
- Excursions to local towns can be arranged if required
ALL OF THE ABOVE AT A COST OF £350 PER PERSON PER WEEK (COST OF FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED).
We will be flying from Exeter to Bergerac on a Sunday at 1000 hrs arriving Bergerac at 1240 hrs. The return flight from Bergerac will be on a Sunday at 1305 hrs, arriving Exeter at 1340 hrs. Individuals must book and pay for their own flights - actual flight details to be confirmed.
