It was a fantastic location - we had close encounters of the owl kind and great bats. It was very cool and cloudy so didn't make full use of the pool but it was very well designed. Loved the gite which was extremely well equipped. Comprehensive tourist information folder/maps and excellent local knowledge of area from owner. Back from a fortnight at these friendly gites which are clean and comfortable. The pool is a great size and well kept with plenty of loungers. Beautiful sunsets. These comfortable, well appointed gites are perfectly located for exploring the Dordogne region. There are six gites set in peaceful, wooded grounds with a good sized, clean swimming pool and sun lounger area. There is plenty of shady car parking. The owners are welcoming hosts who have equipped the gites with everything you might need, including a folder with information on the region and attractions. We spent 5 wonderful days at Nieudegat beautiful B & B in Simeyrols (which is located between Sarlat and the Dordogne in Soulliac). We had rented a cottage with the added option every day a delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and other delicious breadrolls, yogurt, cruesli and fresh fruit. From our terrace and pool beautiful views over the forests and mountains. Very soothing environment! We made plenty of trips, the environment and the villages of the Dordogne were engaging, peaceful and breathtaking views. You only need a car because Nieudegat is located in a small village on the top of a hill. But it is definitely a place to come back for Olwens hospitality, she was great. Buena opcion si te gusta la naturaleza y quieres desconectar del bullicio de otros lugares mas turisticos y poblados de la zona. Cercano a los principales pueblos de interes de la zona, que pueden visitarse en una misma jornada (esta a 20 minutos en coche de Sarlat). Imprescindible tener coche para acceder. Las cabanas son constan de un duplex. El amplio dormitorio esta en la parte superior y consta de una cama matrimonial. El bano con ducha y la cocina americana estan en la planta inferior, donde hay ademas un sofa cama. Es un ecologica opcion a muy buen precio para pasar un par de noches y explorar la zona. Las piscina es un plus valorar, sobre todo por el emplazamiento que invita al descanso. La parcela esta poblada de arboles de muy diversas especies que hacen que el entorno sea muy verde, incluso en los meses mas calurosos de verano. La duena es muy amable y la acogida fue buena. Per chi ama rilassarsi dove traffico ed inquinamento non esistono. Nel cuore della Francia medievale 6 appartementi in due piani con proprio bagno elato cucina. Completamente immerso nel verde di Simeyrols (agglomerato di una decina di case), a soli 5 km da St Nathalene e a 13 da Sarlat. Facimente raggiungibili moltissimi posti di interesse turistico e culaturale - castelli medievali, parchi e ville. Il bellissimo fiume la Dordogne. Impareggiabili le escursioni a piedi o in bici o meglio ancora in canoa sulo fiume. Assolutomente necessaria l'auto. Assoluta disponibilita e simpatia della padrona di casa.
